LOVE, LIES, & THE DOCTOR’S DILEMMA
Needing a prescription to beat the “winter blues”? The Tillamook Association for the Performing Art’s (TAPA) newest play, LOVE, LIES, & THE DOCTOR’S DILEMMA is just what the doctor ordered! This comedic farce was written by Michael Parker & Susan Parker, is directed by Ann Harper, and sponsored by Grocery Outlet of Tillamook. The play opens on January 27th and runs through February 12th.
Widow Joan (Kristi Hanson) and her boyfriend/former gardener Sandy (Bruce Underwood) try to hide their relationship and what’s growing in the greenhouse. Joan tells one little white lie that grows into a hilarious afternoon complete with aging movie star Olivia St. Claire (Rikki Reid), mobster Vinny “the enforcer” (David Lamar Wheeler) who’s intent on collecting a debt from Joan’s son Chris (Jason Hovey), and neighbor Rachael (Kristin Johnson) who leaves chaos in her wake. Love, Lies, & the Doctor’s Dilemma is just what the physician ordered for the winter doldrums!

Performances of LOVE, LIES, & THE DOCTOR’S DILEMMA will be held in the Barn Community Playhouse at 12th and Ivy in Tillamook on January 27, 28, February 3, 4, 10, & 11 2023 at 7:00PM. Sunday matinees will be January 29, February 5, & 12 2023 at 2:00PM. Doors open 30 minutes prior to curtain.
Opening night is Gala Night where each ticket holder receives one free beverage and complimentary Hors D’oeuvres.
