Audition Announcement: The Orphans
The Tillamook Association for the Performing Arts (TAPA) is pleased to announce open auditions for The Orphans, a touching and delightfully antic study of what happens when two eccentric (an immensely rich) ladies, who have lived in isolation for 25 years, are suddenly confronted with an “outside world” they find difficult to comprehend, much less accept.
Auditions will be held at The Barn Community Playhouse Saturday March 7thstarting promptly at 5:30 pm, and Sunday March 8th starting promptly at 1:00 pm. The Barn Community Playhouse is located at the corner of 12th& Ivy, in Tillamook, across from Les Schwab Tires.
TAPA is looking to fill the
- Two women playing sisters: ages 40-70
- One male: age 20-40
- One male for a minor role: age 30-70
- One female for a very minor role: age 30-60
- One male for a very minor role: age 30-70
Written by James Prideaux, and directed by Christian Chiola, performances will run May 22nd – June 7th. Audition packets are available by emailing info@tillamooktheater.com, or at the Tillamook County Library.
