THOSE WERE THE DAYS featuring Caryn Backman April 19th & 20th

Oregon Coast Dance Center, in partnership with the Tillamook Association for the Performing Arts (TAPA), is pleased to present THOSE WERE THE DAYS, AN EVENING OF SONG & DANCE featuring the one-woman powerhouse, Caryn Backman on April 19th & 20th at TAPA’s Barn Community Playhouse in Tillamook.

Experience a night you won’t forget while Caryn enchants audiences with her singing, dancing, and overall delightful performance. This show offers a variety of entertainment, featuring songs from movies, musicals, and TV shows, alongside costume changes, dancing, and live music accompaniment. Caryn first brought her one-woman variety show to the stage in 2004’s BROADWAY BABY, then again in 2014’s A LITTLE SONG & DANCE. We are delighted to have her grace TAPA’s stage yet again!

Caryn’s first production at TAPA was in 1988’s THE MUSIC MAN and has been in other memorable productions such as LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, PAINT YOUR WAGON, THE SOUND OF MUSIC, NUNCRACKERS, and AN ADULT EVENING OF SHEL SILVERSTEIN to name just a few. Caryn has also been the musical director in OLIVER, HMS PINAFORE, ROCK, and IOLANTHE. Caryn also owns a successful business, BarCoda Music, tuning pianos, piano maintenance & giving piano lessons. Caryn has danced at Oregon Coast Dance Center for over 2 decades. Oregon Coast Dance Center offers a variety of classes for ages 2 through adult.
